Under PERPETUAL ITCH, I strive to create work that exists as both art and form.

The process of creation is a deeply personal experience. The act of creation… to transform an idea from thought to flesh, from seed to fruit…

To undergo this process is a blessing: a tandem relationship between mind and body. Pure moments of motion, of hands dancing from tool to material and back, again and again and again. When the craft is complete, something has emerged from whence there was nothing.

What need is there for the artist once this process is complete? What role do I serve once the edges are sanded, the polish applied?

what more could i say with my mouth
that i haven’t said with my hands?
